It's proximity to the centre makes its a great choice if you'd like to enjoy the many offerings around the historical and lively area, like the touristy Grand Place, the more merry St. Gery, the fashionista Antoine-Dansert, the hipster Place Fontaine, etc; but also the closeness to Brussels-South(Bruxelles-Midi) station means Paris, London and Amsterdam are just 1.5 hours or 2 hours away by high speed rail as well!
